Accor has launched its fifth all seasons hotel in Bangkok, and its eighth property in Thailand.


The all seasons hotel is located in Victory Monument, a two minute walk from the Sanam Pao BTS Skytrain station and situated between two major shopping areas, Siam Square and Chatuchak Weekend Market. MakeMyTrip and Amadeus Continue Partnership

Amadeus has renewed its agreement with, making it the latter’s exclusive distribution technology provider.


Amadeus provides with its Amadeus Web Services 2.0, its low-fare search technology Amadeus Master Pricer and its suite of solutions. Founder and CEO Deep Kalra was quoted in TTG Asia as having said that they have gained immensely through their long-term relationship with Amadeus. Kalra added that Amadeus has been their valued partner, providing them with exclusive GDS technology.

Malaysia Appeal to Singaporean Tourists

Malaysia has revealed plans of attracting Singaporeans by offering more ecotourism products and promoting its annual sale campaigns.


Singapore is Malaysia’s largest source market. In 2010, a total of 13-million tourists from Singapore visited the country, which in turn generated MYR28.4-billion in tourism receipts. Tourism Malaysia plans to capitalise on this market by focusing more on nature-based offerings such as parks and gardens, and homestays. Tourism Malaysia acting Director General Azizan Noordin was quoted in TTG Asia that they have designated about 22 parks and gardens throughout the country and that they plan to initially promote 12 of the said parks and gardens.


The NTO will also promote 1Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival, previously known as Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival, to draw bargain hunters, as well as promote other tourism events such as the three-month 1Malaysia Contemporary Art Tourism Festival from July, a Fabulous Food 1Malaysia event from October to November, and a year-end Cuti-Cuti 1Malaysia Dance Tourism Carnival.
