Marriott Opens New Service Facility in China

Marriott opened its first dedicated Global Reservation Sales and Customer Care Centre in China. Its opening is part of Marriott International’s Asia Pacific reservations strategy. It currently has 45 specially trained staff.

 

The new service facility is located in the Pearl River New City district in Guangzhou. It will service Marriott Worldwide Reservation, Customer Care and Marriott Rewards for the company’s hotels in all over China. Marriott International Vice President of Global Sales & Customer Care L Kaye Dengel was quoted in AsiaTravelTips.com as having said that Marriott International is committed to China and to serving their ever-increasing number of Chinese guests in a location that offers an impressive labor talent at a great value. Dengel added that with more than 50 hotels in China and at least another 100 in some form of planning, China is a crucially important market for them and is now by far the second biggest market in the world.

 

Marriott International also has Global Reservation Sales and Customer Care facilities in India, Malaysia and Japan.
