Macau Taps into the Thai Market

Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) organised a delegation which included 10 Macau trade partners to promote Macau in Thailand.

 

In an effort to tap into the Thai market, MGTO hosted Macau Tourism Product Update, Mini Mart and Dinner on July 14. MGTO and representatives from 10 travel agencies, airlines, hotel groups, large-scale resorts, convention and exhibition venues presented the latest tourism development and products to around 100 travel trades in Thailand. During the Mini Mart, the trade partners discussed business opportunities to bring in more visitors. The Mini Mart was then followed by a dinner. MGTO Director Joao Manuel Costa Antunes, Head of Promotion and Marketing Department Cecilia Tse, Head of Marketing Division Betty Fok and Macau trade partners attended the said events. Director Antunes expressed that Macau has been positioned as a “Global Center of tourism and Leisure” and has fast developed into a top Asian tourism destination where travelers can have a variety of experiences.”

 

The MGTO delegation will continue its promotion in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
