Think Tanks Converge at Pan-beibu Gulf Summit

The 2nd Pan-beibu Gulf Think Tank Summit, held last August 18 and 19 in Nanning, Guangxi, China, was well-attended by representatives from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam. The representatives from these countries shared their thoughts and discussed plans for regional cooperation and development.

 

In an effort to foster regional cooperation, the participants of the Pan-beibu Gulf Think Tank Summit has put forward a proposal established as a platform for think tanks in the Pan-beibu Gulf sub-region to discuss the strategic and long-term economic issues which can pave the way for people-to-people exchanges and visits, data and information sharing, and joint study.

 

PATA Deputy CEO and Head of Office of Strategy Management John Koldowski, together with PATA Regional Director for China Kate Chang, attended the event.
